Detroit-based Bear Lake is currently promoting its album "Places on the Side," co-produced by Kid Rock veteran Al Sutton. A band of six lifelong friends and songwriters who have played together since grade school,  each member's unique songwriting style and musical path adds to the diversity of the group. Influences include Radiohead, The Flaming Lips, and the Shins.
